Community Worship Celebration Honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Marin City Ministerial Alliance is hosting a Community Worship Celebration to honor the
legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, January 20th, 3 pm, at the Cornerstone
Community Church, 623 Drake Ave.
This uplifting event will be lead by the pastors of Marin City and will highlight social change
through spiritual transformation. “Come as you are” is the call for participation.
The event is part of the preparations for the 10th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
Celebration, which marks the year of the 40th memorial anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King,
Jr. by celebrating his vision for a beloved community and an empowered, nonviolent world. The
Grassroots Leadership Network is hosting the event in collaboration with other community-
based organizations.
