norms, economic and physical factors provide a critical
context for eliciting and supporting healthy behaviors
and lifestyles.

Services is the County’s largest Department with over
800 employees and a budget of $142 million. The
Department includes the Divisions of Aging, Alcohol,
Drug and Tobacco, Public Health, Mental Health and
Social Services. Programs and services of the
Department touch the lives of everyone in Marin.

substance abuse, environmental health, community
