Communications Director for California Certified
Organic Farmers (CCOF), one of the largest organic
certifiers in the United States, Hellberg worked to
educate the food industry and the public about the
importance of establishing an agricultural system
based on biologically sound methods and the value of
organic food. While with CCOF, he produced, wrote,
and hosted the educational video spokesperson for
the "Inside Organic" campaign on KPIX, which aired in
the fall and winter of 2003. As a Certified Holistic
Nutrition Counselor, Hellberg frequently trains retail
store personnel and gives public talks demonstrating
the connections between nutrition, agriculture, food
production, and environmental and human health.
Hellberg holds a Master's degree in Marketing and
Communications, and a Bachelor's degree in music,
and is currently working on a book that takes an
in-depth look at the benefits of local and organic
agriculture and the connection between environmental
and human health and spiritual awareness.

Organic, an innovative non-profit organization
dedicated to creating the first all organic county in the
