equal VOices campaign 2007-2008
We are combining the 10th and the 11th Annual Civic Engagement Campaign in one:
the equal vOices campaign 2007-2008. The upcoming presidential election in
November 2008 affords us the opportunity to spark a local and national dialogue about
the issues facing working families and the importance of civic engagement during and
beyond the elections. During this year long campaign, our members and partners will
be involved in non-partisan voter registration and education drives, candidates' nights,
community education forums, and producing publications.
